Making an Impact Since 2021

Empowering Vulnerable Women & Children Across Sub-Saharan Africa

β€œ

At Change Makers Africa, we believe that lasting change begins when vulnerable women and children are given the opportunity, support, and dignity they deserve. Founded in 2021, Change Makers Africa is a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting underserved communities across Sub-Saharan Africa through education, healthcare, food security, agriculture, women empowerment, and climate action.

Our Impact
🌿

β€œ Every day, millions of women and children across Africa face barriers created by poverty, conflict, displacement, and climate change. These challenges limit access to education, healthcare, nutrition, and economic opportunities.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to stand with these communities and help them build a future filled with hope, resilience, and self-reliance.

🎯

Our Mission

To support vulnerable women and children within local communities across Sub-Saharan Africa by addressing critical needs and creating sustainable pathways to empowerment.

We work hand-in-hand with local communities, ensuring our interventions are culturally sensitive, community-driven, and impact-focused. By investing in women and children, we are investing in the long-term development of Africa.

🌍

Our Vision

To become the largest supporter of vulnerable communities in Africa, positively impacting tens of millions of lives in alignment with the UN SDGs.

We envision an Africa where every child has access to education, every woman has economic independence, communities are food secure, healthcare is accessible, and climate justice is championed.

What We Do

Our programs are designed to address both immediate needs and long-term solutions. We focus on six core pillars that collectively transform lives and strengthen communities.

01

Education Support

Building Futures Through Learning

Education is the foundation of sustainable development. At Change Makers Africa, we support vulnerable primary school children by removing financial and material barriers that prevent them from attending school.

  • Payment of school tuition fees
  • Provision of writing materials and textbooks
  • Distribution of school bags and uniforms
  • Support for children from conflict & genocide-affected communities

By ensuring children remain in school, we help reduce child labor, early marriage, and generational poverty. Education not only transforms individual livesβ€”it strengthens entire communities.

02

Healthcare Support

Ensuring Access to Health, Dignity & Well-Being

For many vulnerable women and children, access to basic healthcare is a daily struggle. We work to ensure no one is denied medical care due to poverty.

  • Health insurance for underprivileged families
  • Payment of medical bills & medications
  • Maternal and child healthcare support
  • Mental wellbeing & recreational activities
  • Donation of equipment to health facilities

Good health is essential for productivity and education. Our holistic approach addresses both physical and mental wellbeing.

03

Hunger & Food Security

Fighting Hunger, One Meal at a Time

Hunger is an urgent challenge. Change Makers Africa provides immediate food relief while promoting long-term food security.

  • Distribution of food items to households
  • Provision of hot meals
  • Emergency food support during crises

No child should go to school hungry. Through our programs, we restore dignity and hope to families in need.

04

Agriculture & Livelihood

Strengthening Rural Women Farmers

Agriculture is the backbone of African communities. We empower women farmers with tools to increase productivity.

  • Providing farming tools and equipment
  • Supplying seeds and agricultural inputs
  • Increasing crop yields for subsistence farmers
  • Promoting climate-smart agriculture

By empowering women farmers, we improve household nutrition, income stability, and community resilience.

05

Women Empowerment

Empowered Women Build Stronger Communities

Women are powerful agents of change. When women are empowered, entire families and communities thrive.

  • Vocational and skills training
  • Income-generating activities
  • Leadership development & confidence building
  • Support for women affected by conflict

We equip women with practical skills to earn a living, support families, and reclaim their independence.

06

Climate Action

Women Leading Climate Justice

Climate change disproportionately affects women. We believe women must lead environmental action at the grassroots level.

  • Engaging women as climate advocates
  • Environmental protection & conservation
  • Reducing emissions through sustainable practices
  • Raising awareness about climate justice

By empowering women to lead environmental action, we help protect livelihoods, ecosystems, and future generations.
